We’re on a quest to uncover the greatest architectural design ideas known to humankind.
Dr. Nikos Salingaros and I started this podcast on Sep 12, 2024 after I mentioned his work defining human scale spaces and fractals in architecture. He suggested we bring on Ann Sussman, Architect, whose work examines how the human eye reads facades and the psychology of how the human being experiences the built environment. Nikos and Ann introduced me to Dr. Nir Buras, Architect, whose work dissects classical architecture from both the zoomed out, urban, site scale view, as well as from the zoomed-in, detailed-oriented view, describing the benefits of traditional planning and the different meanings and articulations among the various orders.
Nikos, Ann, and Nir have a lot to share about design and how our built environment affects brain development of inhabitants and their unconscious minds.
